Meeting Kids Where They Are — On the Couch, at Play, or in Minecraft
Childhood and adolescence come with their own kind of overwhelm — big feelings, big changes, and not always the words to explain what's going on inside. Whether your child is struggling with anxiety, big emotions, friendship troubles, or just seems "not like themselves" lately, support is available, and it doesn't have to feel like "going to therapy."
I work with children and teens using approaches tailored to how they naturally process the world. For younger kids, online play therapy offers a safe, familiar way to express feelings and work through challenges without needing to sit and talk it all out. For teens (and kids who'd rather build than talk), Minecraft therapy creates a comfortable, low-pressure space where real conversations and real growth can happen — one block at a time.
For kids and teens ready to talk things through directly, I offer traditional talk therapy alongside Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to build practical skills for managing emotions, tolerating distress, and improving relationships.
Every child is different, and so is every path to feeling better. Together, we'll find the approach that fits your child — one that feels engaging, not intimidating, and that builds real, lasting skills for the road ahead.
Your child's emotional wellbeing matters. Let's help them feel understood, supported, and equipped to navigate whatever comes next.
